Dates: Mar 9th -> Mar 31st (22 days) Project By: Tim. This zine will focus on their evolving role in the Traveller or any SF setting. Running an afternoon training exercise for Owen, Chishan ended up noticing a comet in the system, and adds it to the astronomical database. This was originally posted to the authors blog at in July 2013 and reprinted with. Canines in the future will be better friends than ever. Includes the Official Traveller Starship Miniatures, Type S Scout/Courier, and all the add-ons labelled Exclusive Add-Ons and Traveller Add-Ons. Consulting with the captain, they move their orbit in from the 100-diameter limit, closer to the geosynchronous orbit over the starpot. From merchant vessels to system patrol boats and mercenary cruisers, they range in size from 100 to 800 tons (as per the Traveller rules).Įverything new in this campaign and everything in the All-In pledge in our previous Traveller campaign (TRAVELLER TYPE S SCOUT/COURIER) on MMF. The core ships feature a variety of popular classic Traveller designs, all originally visualised by Ian Stead, aside from our own Murphy-class Type S Scout/Courier (both versions of the Type S have been provided for collectors). The miniatures are not in scale to each other, but these are of a practical size to be played on a one-inch hex map for tactical combat. These are some (right now two) simple tools for the Pen & Paper Tabletop RPG 'Traveller' in its first edition by Mongoose. The second scale is Tactical scale, which scales the ships down to fit on a 1 inch hex base stand. They make for great display pieces, and while large on the table, are not so large as to be impractical. I enjoy science fiction role playing games (RPG) and I think that Killjoys would provide a great background. The first, 1:270 scale, was popularised by the X-Wing tabletop dogfighting game, and these versions of the ships are scaled to each other.

We have designed the starship miniatures to use two scales. The ships, which featured most prominently in the Traveller5 Role-Playing Game are based on the works of Ian Stead and have been beautifully rendered in 3D printable form. The initial release includes a total of 14 starships, seven each in two different scales. Based on the Mongoose Traveller SRD, this game allows adventures to. The star of this campaign is our brand new official Traveller Starship Miniatures. Like old school D&D is my favorite fantasy RPG, old school Traveller is my favorite.
